Promt made a feasibility study for VNT 19 for a new pulp mill in Da Nang, Vietnam. The project was a so-called “green field” project and based on both new and second hand equipment. The goal was to reach a capacity of 250 000 Tpa. Promt was responsible from wood yard to pulp storage. Promt made feasibility studies, design, coordination and master plan. The base for the new mill was the closed blaching plant from Tervasaari, Finland, the cooking plant from Alizay, France and the chemical recycling plant from Suzukawa, Japan.
